More Big Kings and Snappers from the Aldermen Pins

Another awesome week of action capped off with a 33kg king on a trip with Boulder

First up for the week was the No Limitz crew, decked out in some flash new t's

We had Get em on Greg

He got em on, nice King bro!

Regular Lock n Load Luke

Nailed a nice line of snaps and kings

And apparently Willy is a bit of a Jonah on their trips and was going to be dubbed No Fish Willy, but persuaded the team Work Up Willy is a better name....

We managed to break his curse anyways!

Next morning and father and son team Adrian and Ian from Auckland were out with us, we had a wee bit of a late start when navigationally challenged Ian went to Tirau instead of Tairua...., but we were soon out loaded up with baits, and the father and son comp began with some JD action while we were stocking up the livie tank

Ian nabs one too, but we'll give this round to Dad

Next up some snapper action, Adrian gets the boys on the board on a candy sized livie

Round two goes to Ian though with a nice 7kg snap

All tied up, time for some kingi action to see who's the champ...Dad gets into some early action on the Stella

Nice fish to get the ball rolling

Time for Ian to go one better.....yeah that 'll do it

This ones a bit better topping the 20K mark well and truly

And Adrian streaks into the front with another fat kingi

Adrian called last drift as they boys had to gap it back to Auckland, time to put a bigger one on board for the icing on the cake and to rub some salt into sons wounds....

Yeah mate, 1.3m king that had done its thing and had spawned already by by the looks, 25kg king to finish the day off

The boys from Tok were out the next day and all ended up with PB's

Nga with the fish of the day round 25kg

Plenty of snaps in amongst the trevs schools scoffing livies

When the fish bit hard late in the day even the trevs were taking jellybean sized livies - unheard of

Paul was on fire late in the day with some nice fish on jigs

Go boy, JM 300 locked and loaded

Choice mate, nice way to finish the day off before the boys headed back to Waikato country

Boulder brought out some keen as Waiheke lads who were well into their kingfish, and between Boulder and these keen lads there was a fair arsenal of gear brought on board, Boulder's Three Kings 300 and PE7 nailed the first of the day, and awesome 22kg fish on the scales that was dwarfed by the angler...

The rain set in, the boys went hard and were rewarded with one a fraction bigger that went off the scales

Plenty of nice snapper were hitting the livebaits as well

And another

Then Andrew got muthered on the PE6 and Three Kings 300.....some serious line was pouring from a equally serious drag setting, Andrew played it to perfection without any help at all. a seriously epic fight ensued and Andrew did an awesome job of bringing a beast of a fish up from the depths, it was still peeling line off all the way to the top......awesome man!!!  33kgs of Aldermen Island kingfish weighed back at the club
