Photo Gallery from two fishing trips 24 and 25 June

Fish caught Aldermen Islands, Castle Rock, Hot Water Beach, Red Mercury Islands and Alderman Pins

*First up it was Mark Etheridge and mates on a superb day out of Tairua.  Nice king on a jig first up

*The KV jig in green blue on the Jig Wrex 100 gets hammered.  Notice the amount of jigs we are using over the day - a small selection from our extensive jig range.  We keep on changing the jigs to find what is working - we found a cracker!!!

*Mark with a nice Aldermen kingi - Kilwell broken arrow blue jig 300gm

*The Jig Wrex 100 and KV 300gm accounts for another big kingfish

*Fish of the day about to be released back into the ocean 19kg kingfish

*A bit of bottom fishing in the afternoon around Castle Island and a nice tasty terakihi caught on 4oz Cyclops rig and 7" GULP pink shine softbait!!

*Another nice Tairua kingi caught on a jig

*Some more bottom fish - doesn't get much tastier than golden snapper crumbed in some lemon macadamia crumb, caught on a Macflasher rig and pillies for bait !!!

*Day two and 10 year old Riley gets to the bottom first, some expert jigging action and he is hooked up first !!  His T Curve bent in half, Accurate reel at full drag and big smiles!!

*And deals to a nice kingi!! (Riley's recent speech topic at school was "Why boys should have a day off every week to go fishing!!!) a gun fisho in the making.....

*And his Dad Jonathan nabs a very nice 16kg kingfish on his JM500 and Accurate reel

*Dom with a nice kingfish JM Alien jig on our Stella/Smiths combo, rod and reel available for us on our fishing charters

*Ross Boyce from Australia with a 19kg kingfish - yellow Benthos jig, after this fish Ross swears he will be back for an extended fishing holiday next year!!

*Ross with his eye in - nabs another!!!  This big kingfish was released for someone else to catch one day

*Riley again! Showing his skills on the bottom fishing with a very nice terakihi, destined for the dinner table

*And a nice snapper on a flasher rig, bait was Dom's Mullet marinated in Stimulate!!! Certainly brought the fish on the bite! And check the conditions - what a day!!
