More great Winter Jigging in Tairua, Coromandel, New Zealand

Mike getting stretched on his JM 300!!!

And he's rewarded with a very nice fish to start the day off, fish caught on a Katch1 blue spear - Mike kept this jig well guarded through the day!!!!

Ye back for another fishing charter orgnised through his shop, YeeHaa fishing tackle - and with a NICE Tairua kingi!

Howard hooked up on the ultimate rod - MC Works, donated by Mogi - the guru of jigging to Ye when he visited New Zealand last year - $3,000 of jigging kit being peeled by a big kingi!!

A double hook up on big Tairua kingfish, this is what it is all about!!

And 'Sid Fishus' with another nice fish to be released back into the Pacific Ocean after a photo

Mike with another fat Alderman Islands kingi, a great example of the fat hard fighting fish we get on most fishing charters out of Tairua - caught on a blue Katch1 spear jig

Ye going for a lighter option - the Smiths 280 spinning rod and Z4500 Daiwa spinning reel, a nice fight!!!

And an even bigger, fatter fish about to be released 20kg +++

And Ye cracks a beauty of 30lb braid!!  Spinning reels all the way!What an epic afternoon on the jigs, time to head back to Tairua.....

Testing out the new Jigging Master Alien jigs - an Alien Invasion at the Aldies! A 20kg fish for our Russian friend and a few vodkas followed this one!!! Caught on our JigStar 300 and Ocea Jigger 4000P, JM Alien 400gm in pink

And Stephen thinks Tairua is the hot place to catch kingfish after his second fish - this time on a Zest curved slider in chartreuse
