Rob Tappert Fishing Trip - Last week in October 2010
Report from Capt Tobes on Sanity
My good buddy Rob was back for his 4th trip with us and with a mint forcast for both days he thought he should introduce his 8yr to the fine art of 'getting railed'. A well served 'rail rod' was introduced for Juda to use...it was fantastic fishing with simply stunning weather.
Rob starts the ball rolling, making sure the rail rod was up to the task

And then it was up to Juda to get in the groove...rail rod tested

And a fine fine specimen of a fish to get the little guy rolling

Then it was time for some father son bonding...rail rod getting a pasting

"This is hard work watching son"

And another one to the big guy

Rob decided that was enough standing and watching and found his groove - while juda kept the ball rolling - a family sized double!

"Dont put that silly hat on dad"

Another one to rob..just one closer to his target of 100 for the year...68 to got mate!

Juda closes in on his dads target!

Live bait on the JM120

67 to go bro!

So time for some fun - synit hellbent feeling the burn...rob loving the work

No this wasnt on the softie rod - but 20plus kg's of prime king fish..you beauty!

Day two and Juda picks up where he left off!!...you go boy

Robs buddy John drove down to whiti to join them on the second day and got about getting a bend in the JM250 - juda watches and learns for when he doesnt need rail rods

Fat fish johnboy! - well done

Do it again aye?...sure why not

and again...about this time his femanine side started showing

nice double boys!..thats how ya do eeeeet!

Another one in the keg club for rob

John has a crack on the hellbent

Tu meke! - awsome fishing over 2 days, 62 to go rob
