Sydney Angler Trip 2010
The boys from Sydney were back threatening to make Tairua an annex state of New South Wales! This was the second or third trip for a lot of them so the pressure was on to find some fish. A northerly system, some nice ocean current and a patch of reall good water saw us get into some BIG kingfish...
Day one and we stocked up on livies as they had been working well the week prior. Tobes found Jerry a big fish first up which managed to turn his Hots rod into a two piece! he landed the fish still!! All 9 fellas got into some good fish on day one with plenty in the 18-20kg range...more pics to come from day one soon, this one takes the cake though....

The next day we had some fun on the bait grounds while we were stocking up the livey tank it was hard not to resist the urge of feeding a few liveys to the kings who were rounding up the bait, that man Jerry again....

Romano loaded up on a real nice fish for the bait grounds

18kg within minutes from home ain't bad!

Andy wishing we had one of his downriggers that morning!!
