The bay has been loaded with all sorts of sizes of maccies and the kings are thick thick thick!!...allbiet just legal but alot of fun on the Team Yeehaa 703 3-6kg with most anglers getting multiple hits on sabikis and taking the live bait that is set just for them...

out at the par five mike hooks up on a soft plastic destined for snapper the line just peeled off the little Daiwa Legalis, alot of skill and patience later..

...up pops this very long and slightly skinny king...21kg on the digital scales...a top effort

back to business Paul put one in the bin for the smoker

Back to business after a long spell of bad weather, I was joined by a charter operator from napier, his buddy another charter operator from norway and his mate from germany, a real europen feel to the trip so i thought i better bust out some tool and ramstien...just for a giggle..plenty of xos maccies in the bay and out to the pins

Basti gets the ball rolling - uses Jigging Master over in Europe for his halibut fishing and bought over a little PE4 to play with
