OUR Boat

“Epic Adventures” is our 6.7 metre Stabicraft Supercab Hard Top.   Being a pontoon boat is extremely stable at rest, provides a great platform for fishing and diving adventures and is designed with safety in mind.   The Supercab provides a roomy cabin out of the conditions and the cockpit is nice and roomy with optimum fishing spaceThe boat is the perfect set up for jigging with controls, throttle and electronics in plain view of everyone jigging to see exactly what each line is doing. (The same goes for fighting kingis in the shallows and fighting big marlin, the helm is right where the action is!).

The boat is ideal for someone wanting the charter us for themselves, rather than sharing a boat with lots of other people (as you will find on many other larger boats).    Epic Adventures is surveyed for up to 6 people, but ideally somewhere between 1 and 4 people is best if we are going to provide you with an unforgettable fishing experience and hopefully the fish of a lifetime!!   We get a lot of people just coming out by themselves, so they get the skippers full attention.

Epic Adventures is in “Safe Ship Management” with Maritime NZ, contains all the required safety equipment including Radio Beacons, GPS, VHF, Lifejackets, Flares etc and has been surveyed for 6 passengers.  Epic is also equipped with the latest Raymarine C80 chart plotter and sounder.  Good electronics are a must with the type of fishing that we do - especially jigging and softbaiting. You can be sure we'll do out upmost to put you right on top of where the action is!
