Ian Gullock and Mates
Report from Carl
Ian Gullock came and fished with us two years ago and had a blinder of a day, the photos were enough to convince a bunch of mates to come back with him. The boys were amped up for what lay in store and weren't dissapointed with three awesome days of fishing
Josh was a bit of a fishy bugger and was into the first in no time

And the second.....

Fish were all very solid on day one

The boys with a duo

The good old Aussie jig was getting hammered

The Par Five produce a couple of real solid early 20k fish on day one. Tonto with the first

Ian getting railed on the second

A real nice solid fish for Ian

Josh was at it again on another Aussie coloured jig to round off a great sess

They were still hammering jigs the next day, Tonto gets things rolling

Ian with a solid kin on livie

The fish were a bit more leader shy today and going down to smaller baits and lighter leader worked a treat, that fishy bugger Josh at it again!!

On ya Joshy!

Ian with another on the team yeehaa softie rod

This was one of a bunch we tagged this time last year, had grown 10cm since Apr 10

Skip manages one on a new jig from YeeHaa, first time in the water....

We caught a hua of a big yakka earlier in the morning and with baits we would normally call huge being ignored by the kings we almost didn't put down this XXXXOS bait down, that is a normal sized bait next to it......

with the last drift getting nearer he went down and it took all of 30 seconds for the rod to start bending over......BOOM Josh was into a monster.....a beast of 26kg was the result

After a lay day for the Melbourne Cup and to let an easterly blow through the next fishing day it was up to Cuvier, Muzza with an average Cuvier sized king

Back at Crackerjack at the Mercs the size got a bit better

Some nice snapper there too....this one for Tonto went 10kg

A quick scally dive for the end of trip BBQ Tonto strikes a pose while the catch bag is filled with some bounty....

Cheers to Ian for organising the boys and see you fellas again soon!
