Late Sept Kings
Report from Toby
Steve and his buddies were over from the UK doing a spot of kingi fishing and a bit of footy watching, enjoying the Coromandel and its attractions. Day one treated them to a nice calm morning at whiti wharf where we stocked up on live bait and a few little surprises...
It was very lumpy out at the pin and Frank had a great tussle with this nice fish

The fishin sure was slow but this double lightened the spirits

On the second day things got a little better. While catching livies a pod of dolphins cruised up the harbour and brang with them a nice school of kings!..

out went a livie with Frank holding on while I untied sanity and chased after it...first king day two at the wharf...what a start!!
Out at the pin jack nailed a beauty

And Steve was on form with these nice fish
