More June Kingfish ...JM Aliens going off....and the New Jigging Master Titanium rods tested

Mike Brunt, his mate Dan, Steve and Rusty joined us early at the wharf for a trip to the Aldies to chase down some kings. The bait was thick at the dairy and we bolted out for a slice of June kingfish carnage! It proved to be an epic day with the kings biting hard through the day.  Livies got hammered but the best fish were on jigs. Yeah!

Rusty gets into the swing of things with a nice king

Steve with his first kingi

Rusty was far from rusty, every drop he was getting hammered!

And they got better as the day went on

Mike stuck with the jigging and was rewarded with some sweet fish on the light jig rods

His mate Dan seemed to have the knack at hitting the fatties!

Steve had caught a few nice fish on baits and wanted to have a crack at this jigging caper.  First few jigs weren't attractive enough, I swapped him to a white JM Alien and BOOM

Every drop on the JM Alien and bingo, MC Works and Stella working it beautifully

And they got more and more solid on the jigs...this one going 20kegs

Ditto with this one, next drop, five cranks and BOOM.....a wicked line of fish on jigs for Steve

Rusty wrestling one for a pic on the i Phone to send to mates and family!!!

Thats better fella!

Dan kept slaying them

RAILED AS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve's jig got confiscated by one of the other fellas so he kept slaying them on the baits

Last double from about 50 fish released over the day - an Epic Day out!

Next up were some regular corporate clients for a Coromandel fishing outing, Spencer brought along some power boys in New Zealand for a conference. Frenchman Kristoff was on fire but a bit blown away with the first fish......the look in his eyes says it all!!!

Peter with his first ever kingfish and a nice one at that

Peter 2 popped his kingi cherry

And a tag team effort was required for this one, Spencer and Peter celebrate a solid fish before jetting back to their duo in Auckland

Fishing identity and online tackle store owner BOULDER was on board next, as usual loaded up with lots of goodies including the new Titanium Evolution series of Jigging Master rods.  He's also thrown on board a new weigh sling to weight big fish in.  Cheers Boulder!

First drop and Si was hooked up on a curved slider jig, so was Jon (jig) and Bush (livie) on the other side

Boulder hooked up too, bingo - quadruple

Jon with the first for the day - on good old Pink Benthos

Bush with one of many this size he got over the course of the day

And another late teens fattie

Si had got a few fish and dropped a few too... this was in another league, an awesome 23kg fish

Boulder got absolutely smashed next up, and we were soon charging back into the seas to keep on top of a freight train.  This was Boulders first drop with the new Titanium Evolution Jigging Master 300, with a PE5 bolted on.

Boulder did real well keeping the fish out of the reef and went to work on a long fight getting the brute up

BOOOM, a horse of a fish, what a way to blood the new rod mate, gotta be nudging 30K.

Starting to hurt!  a quick pic with the rod and she was released for someone else to catch

Laid back dude Jon with a 22kg fish we weight in the new sling

And another solid fish for Jon on his Jigstar 450 to top off an awesome day for the boys!
