Epic New Zealand Snapper Fishing Charter Action and Some Nice New Zealand Winter Kingfish to Boot
A quick few photos from a couple of day fishing charters last week
Some nice spring snapper showing up on the last week of winter, has the feel of an early season....
This 8kg snapper was caught on one of our new Daiwa Certates, fresh mackeral for bait on a Cyclops rig with assist stinge rigged on the worm hook, bit of improvisation from the crew on the day and a very nice reward!

Graeme Cox with another very nice snapper

Another nice snapper on a Gulp softbait

Derrick getting peeled on his new Daiwa Interline rod - where have the guides gone?

This kingfish was mitled up big time and hit a jig 10m below the boat, out of 80m......sure feels like spring fishing has kicked in. First jig caught kingfish for this happy angler!!

Graeme with one on the livebait

Another jig caught kingfish on the spin gear

Nigel back for some epic action for the second time in a month, this one caught on the JM200 3 Kings special and Blue rocket jig

Mark Etheridge with a nice kingfish on the JigStar 350 and Talica 12ii, with Benthos blue jig

Couple of solid kingfish caught on a livebait in close to Pauanui beach

Troy Hamblion sticking it to one at the Mercury Pins on the JM350, blue Williamson jig the ticket!

Troy's old fella with one that smashed a pink rocket 200gm on the JM200, they both released plenty of kings, plus we filleting some kingfish and a nice line of snapper for the BBQ on the next leg of their NZ journey, a week in Queenstown with the other halves!
