What a way to start a trip - a triple hookup on the first drop..a few tangles to deal with, patience is the key and soon all fish were boatside.

Next up Rob, Si, Albert and Tony - A day of mayhem, quads ...triples... doubles u name it we had it. all boys fished jigs all day and it payed off in spades at Crackerjack with over 40 fish between 4 guys on 20odd knots of slop.

Aussie Albert had herd about the jigging here and wasnt dissapointed fishing a custom built rod from his buddie in malaysia...well done mate

Back up to Crackerjack the next day as live baits were thinon the ground again - a little bit harder today but still 35 fish

Second visit for Steve G and his gang. Joining him was his little bro and mates from Wheeler Contracting. A big bin full of live baits and we were back at the pins for a snoop around
Troy sat out the livie catching opting to watch the boys gather lollies (small maccies) and snakpack (king bite size) but did jump out of sanitys comfortable seats to bring in this nice fish on a free swimming snakpac.

A real hard day on the water but kim did real well persisting all day and got rewarded with two nice kings while the crew fished for large trevs and snapper.


The deckies brother and mates joined us the next day and put in the hard yards getting livies off the wharf early...and it paid off!!

A very windy morning turned into a nice day for a two boat charter out of Tairua. Wayne from independent liqour bought 8 of his good mates for a top day at the pins, both boats nabbed some awesome fish, heres a few from Sanity

a tough day at the office but the fish that were there, were very scrappy. Two awsome couples on the boat and all caught fish and had their arms streched. A free jumping marlin gave a great display around the reef through out the reef doin 5 to 7 jumps each time...he wasn't interested in my skip bait offering unfortunatly. JD from franz joseph enjoys a nice king in the morning

A lumpy day on the water today with single angler Kahn from melbourne. When you hire the boat for yourself you sure do catch alot of kings and Kaan landed 25-30 fish..."just what he needed" he said. a nice shot of angler and fish

alot of fish ing the 15-18 kg mark but im picking this one got to 20kg

There are some monster trevs still stealing lollies and this has to be the biggest yet

Aussie John was back for another dose of kingfish - very addictive he rekons..."thinking about immigrating". Live baits were scarce but with only three onboard the lads still managed a top day. john with his fish of the day

Rob fished hard all day and was rewarded with many kings and a sore body...kingies do that kind of thing.

Pete got quite ill but after a rest came right to knock off a few kings

The forecast changed dramatically so we were able to sneak in a last day on the water before a weeks worth of easterlie setteled in. I was joined by Dave and his team for a day at the pins. Dave gets off to a great start with this fine fish

Huat from malaysia was just stoked to nail a few kings in the mid teens...."You want big fish u come to epic"...he chuckled

He was very passionate about his fish, they really mean alot to him

and Uncle Johnny topped the day off with a superb fish from the pah 5 - just in the nic of time as there were a few shark bites in his back and a few seconds later the mako was looking for his dinner around the boat.

A very sick sam made it thru the day landing 12 kings, this one a beaut
