November Yellow Fun

Report from Tobes

A hard case day was instore when Dayne and his boy rocked up at the wharf, his buddy Brendon can take a whipping from his mates and dish it back equally...and this before we left the wharf!...Tung was with us again and soon we were jetting to the pins laughing all the way

Brendon was no slouch on the rod and invented a new form of skull dragging...angry fish boatside!!

Another for the big guy

Dayne gets one for his smoker

and young Sam was a demon on the rail rod

a little bit tired now but still giving it everything

-------------------------

Tung was over for three days of fishing and keen on hitting kings on some jigs he bought over to try, he was joined by a family bunch, Geoff and steve on their second trip and dad filled in third spot

It was a good day at the pins and strting with a double is always a bonus!

Geoff grabs one for the smoker

little bro steve joins the party

and a sucession of primo fish for Tong on his jigs

Double time

Wazza was having a great day and nailed fish after fish

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

YEEHAAAA!!!...I go the best surprise when i went into yeehaa last week. Tony and John had been busy making up a set of Team Yeehaa 703 rods for me to use on sanity, two light and two medium sets matched with daiwa legalis spin reels. A drag upgrade for hitting kings and big snapps in each reel and armed with the new Asame sabikis tony had on the rack it was time for testing!!

Kennith gets the day off with a boom...20kgs of prime aldies king

Young matt was super keen to get amongst it and this late teens king was his hit of the day

Testing time and the new 30lb fluro sabiki was deployed with two livies

hooked up strait away

and the result...alot of fun!

-------------------------

Kim was back for his second trip and bought a few of his mates two of who were kingfish newbies...a stunning morning in whiti as we loaded up and headed out to get some maccies...bin full in no time and it was action stations for the morning bite

Juaannwasted no time in getting into some mid teens kings

this beauty nailed a broken arrow on the drop and had foul hooked it in the tail..it pulled off a bunch of line and gave juaan a real work out

another for the lucky lad

Kim nails this beauty and is destined for sashimi

-------------------------

Russ was back!! what a good bloke and allround great fisho, joined by newly weds on honeymoon who have never really done much fishing - the gentle swell was still about and we were setting livebaits in no time.

Russ was after a big snapp this trip and left the livebating to the honeymooners for as long as he could. His baby salmon were getting delt to but no such luck on the big ones so a king was in order

Whitney was having a great day and this one put her above her hubby!

Will was just stoked to be out fishing on his honeymoon...lucky fella!!
