Hot Aldies King Action continues

Report from Tobes

The great weather continues and summer starts to finally kick into gear..and what do ya know!...kingfish like good weather!! I was joined by Sam from the Mt, Steve Jezza and Benn, and we headed to the gspot for some rod bending excercizes!

Benn kicks off the excercise regieme

strait back down and into a double

and another..gee benns a fit bugger!

Steve kicks in with a few power winds

Sam just loved the power of fishing at 12kg drag

and soon topped up his pb

Jezza wasnt to be outdone

and soon nails another

and why not a triple??...lots of weaving of lines and soon a great result!

------------

Could we match yesterdays big day?...YES WE COULD!!...Mick, Lee, Fan and Phil were soon being introduced to big gspot kings...and well...the warm summer days like to make kingfish play!!

Mick liked catching maccies...but kingfish..."gimme more"!!!

double trouble...one of many top doubles

just becuase u can...another!!

Big Fan makes these top fish look small

He nailed the two biggies for the day

Lee spoke not a word of english but with hand signals we figured it out

A triple to start the day...oh yeah!!

----------

WOW!!....the hot run just keeps getting better...i thought maybe the fish would slow down...but no...they just keep chewing harder and harder. I had a good buddy have trips cancelled due to bad weather and today he was grinning from ear to ear, the forceast was bung as it usually is when Hamish steps onboard but today mother nature stayed off facebook and waved her magic wand and boom...no wind all day!!

Dan filled a one spot and made the trip over drom sudney and got a bit of a wake up when both legs went skyward...fortunalty a flying toby got him before the ocean got him!! this just one of many fish he got today

Dave was also from the same suburb in sydney..small world and did a top job taming not one

not three

but eight big kings

doubles were just so common I stopped taking pictures...so so many

Hamish wanted a kegger...and he got it on the first drop!!...to much

in no time clothes were stripped off and he powered well into 13 or so big fish...he did have alot of time to make up for..

the first drop today...when it starts witha triple and a dropped fish u know its going to be special

truely an epic day...AGAIN!

-------------

Dan and Dave were back on for thier second day and joined by fellow aussie Nigel and Joel from wellington. Like usual maccies were easy targets and soon we were cruising out to the Aldies to get the new guys bent! Conditions got beter and better throughout the day and the hot bite continued right up until it was home time.

Dave warms up with thi ssuperb fish

One of so many doubles throughout the day

All the team had a great time getting bent today

A surprise for Nigel, a fat fat JD!

Joels first kingi...pretty choice!

Nigel was totally blown away by the power of these fish!

and this one he couldnt even lift...he was owned!!
