May Kingfish Madness on Sanity
Mothers Day madness! - I think there should be a mothers day 3 times a year if this is what the fishing is going to be like. A fantastic day after another bout of bad weather - the big swell still present had us climbing mountains and skiing back down, some massive currents ment fast drifts, but it diddnt matter, boom! boom! boom!, never had four reefings in a day, the horses were there and there was nothing I could do, we felt somewhat under gunned.
Deans first up, late teens king testing the arms

so he gets another one that made him sweat

and steps up the game and gets a ripper in the mid 20's

A solid double to dean and Tim

Tim number two gets into the keg club

Tim number one got some great fish throughout the day, this one no exception

A fantastic day on the water
The ash's were back for more punishment in the large slow roll, Cam was back for the second time in as many weeks and his mate Dan made up the crew. It was a very hard day but the team still managed to nail some very nice fish
Cam cracks a keg, 20kg spot on when weighed back at the wharf

and another primo model

Dan was feeling green but managed to play ball and was rewarded with a late teens model

Ashleys fish of the day - nice one!!

A really nice day on the water, still a massive swell running and great company with some very respectable fish to boot. It was Pauls 50th birthday trip and they needed some tucker for the party the next day. Some primo snapper and four nice kings in the bin and mission achieved.
Andy nails a beaut on a jig

David sticks to the livebaits

Tom gets a new PB

I had bumped into Joel three times on 3 consecutive trips into Yeehaa so was looking forward to the charter. The fishing had been slowing down a tad so was hoping the 2 day break would fire things up again...and it did!! Three fishing.net member, Nupo, JayKay and Popeye loaded up sanity and we headed to the pins for a day of madness!
Chris's fish of the day..very nice

Dean gets another on the Jigstar 450

Which he used all day, jigging up a storm!

There were alot of doubles and triples and lots of crossed lines to sort out

Joel Jigged up these two off the Par 5 on the new zest leaf jig

Rich's first time marlin fishing and he gets a 197kg stripie so he was keen to jig and got into the swing of it, a $12 jig from yeehaa at the boatshow was the star of the day

and another on a live bait...and blazing day at the pins with many many fish released and very sore arms.
