The skippers have been enjoying the fine weather after a rough start to spring. Summer is here and the fishing has been awesome.
We have been posting the photos of each days catch on our social media platforms and a few have been exceptional! We had a guest from America Sean that caught one of the larger Kingfish for the month (main photo below) and then there is the XXL snapper (photo above) caught by a keen lady angler this week.
All boats are all out trying their favourite spots so we are ready to get you and your crew out there and into whatever the summer season brings.
Our Bay of Islands boat KOROKING with Capt Kit has been busy looking after the Northland tourism sector. There have been plenty of large schools of Kings on the pins and its worth spending time to get some ‘livies’ before heading out. Snapper have been on the bite and we have seen a few caught and released close to the 20lb mark.
Up North, we offer a half-day snapper experience for those wanting to get onto the water to experience the beauty of the Bay of Islands and or to try their luck at some of the local kingfish.
We also offer a full-day kingfish experience and we have seen plenty of satisfied customers posting great photos of their Northland Kingfish.
The Christmas and New Year period is particularly busy up North as the population explodes for summer so please get your bookings in early to avoid disappointment.
