Capt Nick delivers the awesome kingfish experience that Whitianga and Epic Adventures are famous for, and Epic can now put you onto the deep water reefs that we haven’t been licensed for. These sites reefs are home to massive BASS, Hapuka (Groper), Jem Fish, and Swordfish.

Vessel: “STACK ATTACK”
She’s an 8.5m long catamaran constructed of fiberglass and made in South Africa. Offering stability and comfort, with a full walk-around deck. A pair of Yamaha 150HP outboard engines power the big cat. And we’re fully equipped with electronics by Raymarine, that help us find the reefs and the fish.
Comfortably fishing 4-8 fisherfolk.

Whitianga
Whitianga is the tourism centre of the Coromandel with some world-class accommodations and attractions such as the Lost Spring day spa complete with thermal fed pools with waterfalls and massage rooms perched up in huts amongst the trees (great for the ladies while the boys are out on the boat!) lots of fun in around town for the kids too including fun zone, animal parks, mini putt, swimming holes, and paint-ball all just minutes drive from town.
Whitianga is also home to Mercury bay and the hub of recreational fishing activity on the Coromandel peninsula too. Its position halfway up the peninsula makes it an attractive home base to reach a vast range of pumping fishing spots and puts you in short driving distance of world-famous beaches and bays such as hot water beach and cathedral cove, as well as some world-class bushwalks also easily accessible from here. Whitianga boasts a bit more nightlife with restaurants and bars open late.
